Survey Paper Published on Haptic Assistive Technology for Individuals Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired

A paper entitled “Designing Haptic Assistive Technology for Individuals Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired,” co-authored by Barron Associates’ Dr. Richard Adams, has been published in the IEEE Transactions on Haptics July-September 2015 issue. The manuscript focuses on intersections between behavioral research and system design, covering historical results, existing technology, and recommendations for future work that is informed by the latest research evidence.
